Students in the Community Based Instruction and Independent Living Program at Wa-Hi are teaming up with the STEP Program to make, sell, and deliver organic dog treats and pupsicles.

This school year has been difficult for us as we are supposed to be out in the community gaining skills to live independently and gain employment skills. Our programs had to become creative, so both AM/PM sessions developed a business plan. We sought out permission to get production going, collect payments, built a website, google order forms, placed our orders for products, and started our testing of making the dog treats. Small treats will sell for $3.00 a bag and large ones for $5.00. All the proceeds will be to sustain production and community outings once we can resume outings. Dog treats that do not sell will be donating to the Humane Society.
