Jocelyn Parker, a senior at Wa-Hi and a three-year member of FBLA, was recognized for her outstanding work as a Washington FBLA State Officer during the 2021-2022 school year at this year state conference. Throughout the year, she worked with a team of other officers around the state to plan conferences, prepare resources, connect with members and advisors, work with chapters on ways to increase membership and engagement and finally plan and run the State Business Leadership Conference in Spokane.

At SBLC she was awarded the “Who’s Who in FBLA” award which is given to students who show the most dedication and work both at the local, state and national level in their time in FBLA. She was also awarded the Presidential Volunteer Service Award for over 350 hours worked during her term. Lastly, Jocelyn brought home first place in Networking Infrastructures and fifth in Political Science and will be representing WaHi at this year’s Nationals in Chicago from June 27-July 3! Although her time as a state officer has ended, the hard work and dedication she has put into FBLA both at WaHi and at the state level will forever benefit the organization.
