Our GO BLUE students for the month of December were nominated for their strong initiative.
These students are Samantha Ezell, Cade Miller Garza, Mya Jones, Christopher Robinson, Austin Brood, Jealousy Snell, Brandon Hua and Alejandro Velez.
Freshman Samantha Ezell was nominated by Peggy Payne. We asked her what her favorite thing about Wa-Hi is. “My favorite part is my art class,” Ezell said.
Junior Jealousy Snell was nominated by Kristen Glaeser. We asked her what advice she would give someone struggling in school. “Asking your teachers for help and going to the library for help with your homework is one of the best things you can do,” Snell said.
Sophomore Mya Jones was nominated by Kristen Glaeser. We asked her what advice she would give someone struggling at Wa-Hi. “Ask for help when you need it,” Jones said.
Freshman Cade Miller Garza was nominated by Peggy Payne. We asked him what was his favorite thing about Wa-Hi. “The friends part,” Garza said.
Senior Alejandro Velez, was nominated by Kristen Wegner. We asked him what would you change about Walla Walla High School. “I wish people would treat others how they want to be treated. Too many people are getting bullied around here, and we need to treat each other equally,” Velez said.
Senior Brandon Hua was nominated by Mary Burt. We asked him to share some advice for anyone who’s struggling in school. “Instead of taking the usual freshman or sohomore science classes, take something more advanced or interesting, like AP Biology or CP Chemistry,” Hua said.
Junior Austin Brood was nominated by Dave Larson, and we asked him about his favourite part of Wa-Hi. “I love that so many people will work together as a team,” Brood said.
