February Students of the Month announced

The February GoBLUE 2017 Students of the Month were announced on March 16. They answered the question "why do you feel that you deserve this award?"

Freshman Michael Whitney was nominated by Dave Larson. “The class is really small, and I’m the most expressive in the class,” Whitney said.

Freshman Amelia Gordon was nominated by Peggy Payne. “I have a really good attitude and I participate fully every day,” Gordon said.

Sophomore Cana Baez was nominated by Kristin Glaeser. “I genuinely enjoy my drama class, and I think it shows,” Baez said.

Junior Derick Badgett was nominated by Carrie Lujan and Gay Buissink. “I have 100 percent in Mrs. Buissink’s class and have been doing really well all year,” Badgett said.

Junior Josh Bergevin was nominated by Laura Bertinelli and Patty Jones. “I have a great attitude in class and really good attendance,” Bergevin said.\

Senior Krystal Roberts was nominated by Refugio Reyes. “I have participated in a lot of extra activities and done very well academically,” Roberts said.

Senior Osman Bakari was nominated by Sherry McConn. “I’ve been working really hard and doing my best,” Bakari said.
