Fall Action Plan

CLASS OF 2017 Juniors

  • MEET with the school counselor, Career Center, and/or GEAR UP Student Achievement Specialist to:
    • Make sure schedule and grades reflect your aspirations and/or plans for after high school.
    • Start the college search process.
    • Become familiar with individual college entrance requirements.
  • TESTING - Sign up and take the PSAT (offered at WA-HI)
  • ATTEND fall and spring conferences.  Check-in with teachers routinely.
  • MAKE grades count!
    • Check SKYWARD regularly to stay current on grades and cumulative GPA.
    • Visit the WA-HI Academic Lab for additional help and resources.

  • Speak with college, military and technical program representatives through WA-HI Career Center presentations, campus visits and GEAR UP sponsored trips.
  • Use www.WOIS.org (WA-HI site key ADV295) and/or www.bigfuture.collegeboard.orgfor comprehensive college search and comparison.
